Cancel before assignment
The new Member Association can cancel a minor application until its status is “Awaiting assignment” by clicking on “Cancel”.
You must enter valid cancellation remarks and click on “Yes” to confirm the cancellation of the minor application.
The minor application status will change to “Cancelled”.
Cancel after assignment
Once a minor application has been assigned and has the status “Under consideration” or “Awaiting judgement”, only the FIFA Disputes & Regulatory Applications Department can cancel it. To request cancellation at this stage, the Member Association must send that department an official letter by email to regulatory@fifa.org or through TMS. A request may be sent through TMS where FIFA has requested the communication (see “Communication from FIFA”). The letter must state the player’s name, the application ID and the reason for cancellation.
After a decision
Once a decision has been entered for the minor application, it can no longer be cancelled.
